Can’t believe this year is already over! It’s crazy that I’ve already had you for two classes and now you’re leaving! Well maybe maybe not haha who knows. I loved this class. This one and 121 are definitely my top favs from this year. I can really tell that I’ve grown from these two courses I’ve taken from you. My vocabulary has definitely expanded, I’m more comfortable with writing, and I don’t dread it nearly as much as I used to. It’s so cool that with just two classes I’ve seen this happen.
But to get back on track and talk about this course. I really really wasn’t too sure if I’d be sticking it out this semester. I for one can’t write at all haha.. And when I found out this semester I’d not only be writing a research paper but also getting it submitted to a journal, I was about to peace out and settle for a rummy writing course. I remember my friend telling me that he only had to write 2 five page papers and that was it, I was seriously considering jumping ship. But now at the end of the semester with all the knowledge I gained as well as the friendships I’ve made (and hopefully will maintain throughout the rest of my college career) I’m so happy that I stuck with your class. You’ve made it so memorable! I’m definitely super glad that I was able to take you later on in the day and be super real with you. Everyone in the class seemed to all have the same mindset and you adapted to that and just went with the flow.. it was awesome! It’s just so surreal to look back on it now and see everything that happened and now having a paper that I’m able to submit to journals is just so so cool. I’ve become a better writer and you’re the direct influence over that… I can’t say thank you enough! You’re awesome Marlen and I’m so glad that I had the chance to take not only 121 with you, but this class as well. Good luck with where ever you end up! I’m sure it will be awesome.
